Kinds of Training and Assistance

  • Forms or "Paper and Pencil" training is meant for clinicians and others charged with filling out the paper Assessment forms, or responding to the questions electronically. This training takes between 2 1/2 and 3 hours. (see below for more details)
  • Hands On training is for all workers who plan to use the Outcomes Measurement Application computer program. This training takes just under 3 hours. (see below for more details)

For Hands-On Trainings we are limited to 15 people. For Forms training, we can accommodate from 40 to 70 per session depending on the space.

Paper and Pencil (Forms) Training

 

Paper and Pencil Training (3 Hours)

This training will focus on filling out the Outcomes forms developed by DMH. After an introduction on the subject of Outcomes, the instructors will work through the Baseline Assessment, Key Event Change, and Quarterly Assessment for one or two age groups.

Training on the Application

 

Hands on Training (3 Hours)

This training will teach users how to use the new Outcomes Measurement Application (OMA) . After an introduction on the subject of Outcomes, the instructors will assist users with navigating the electronic data collection system (OMA). The focus of this training will not be on data elements, but rather the process for entering the data electronically. Anyone who plans on entering data directly into the on-line Outcome Measures Application rather than a third party system should attend these trainings.
