DMH CIO Robert Greenless announced today that the County is still experiencing disruptions in its computing networks and services because of this extraordinarily difficult virus.

OMA users have experienced slow-downs and other data access problems, but please be assured that the CIOB is working as rapidly as possible to eliminate this issue.

A new virus that attacks certain pieces of Internet equpipment has been playing havoc with various sites for the last three days, and today it caused DMH to have to shut down and reboot various critical systems such as OMA.

Users of the DMHOMA website (aka "The Wiki") have had problems performing searches for the past few days for this reason: servers and system administrators have been overwhelmed trying to defeat this virus attack.
